A Song Title Poem
A MAN WITH A BAND AND OTHER HITS I don’t know where to begin other than in these gloomy times I feel lost, but it could be far worse As I know where to find people for relief and can write as part of the midnight special before the Pull of sleep greets me, but sometimes the bad moon rising over the mountain with brilliant lights Creeping from behind the curtains and this cues the commotion of the mind to take some shape. At least I can sleep in peace as no one has to bother me for anything and while the working man Title belongs to me some days, I’m glad I can sleep because the night time is the right time for a Mental shut down because as long as I can see the light of day there is time for trouble to occur. I wonder about the fortunate sons and daughters who have to get by with little sleep so close to Battlefields that a few winks are considered a luxury, while the tired souls feeling blue as various ...
