Behold The Highwaymen

A Group of Outlaws

Have you ever wondered what your life would be like in another time, well I remembered Texas and

Many stories about cowboys and that could be something, but supernatural riding a tall silver stallion

Riding against the wind to places unknown to help those in trouble and see things that only the vast

Desert could give life to, quickly turning anyone into a living legend if they have the heart to survive.

I don’t know how such a life works if born and raised in black and white films where the colors of a

Hat told you who was good, evil or nervously neutral in place where everyone gets crazy looking far

Out into the distance to distract them that a respected person might as well be the devil’s right hand

In order to keep control of the town through fear in those who have been waiting for a long time to

See a hero battle evil eager to hit closer to the bone, but easily thwarted by some bullets and a noose.

It would be something being among a group of desperadoes waiting for a train carrying several goods

Meant to give life to desolate places, but the metal snake is owned by evil and wants the welfare line

Longer than the rails and the desperadoes are the only true heroes and it is what it is allowing various

Questionable acts to occur in forsaken places, however angels love bad men, if there is some pledge

To change and help pick up the tempo for other unfortunate souls using more respectable methods.

I’ve had a dream where I’m going off to another odd place, but the road goes on forever and I don’t

See many colors to hint that I’m near my destination and while I could be a highwayman, acquiring a

Few riches from dishonest travelers, but I do believe that when people are very far away from many

Forms of civilization, anyone could be between good and evil with thievery creating a big river that’s

Hard to cross when you’re already at the edge of understanding the grueling rules of the cowboy life.

All I can say about my fantasy is that we all want to live forever doing what we like and hope there’s

Group of people who are curious about how their friends cope when the get back in the saddle on a

Lackluster ride and they’re far from singing the last cowboy song out in the middle of nowhere with

Skies full of too many clouds to behold the floating diamonds and the American remains of locating

A place that makes sense and anybody can sing the songs that make a difference in brightening days,

Yet the times of the old west were long ago and in some movies the twentieth century is almost over

With modern grey not far behind, but here comes that rainbow again to show anything is possible.
